June 1st. Let the Hurricane Wars begin! :-( 6 months and counting! Time to stockpile on some bare necessities. Batteries, portable radio/tv, water, flashlights, candles, canned food and more food and dust off the Scrabble game...just to name a few. For those who have lived through the eye of the storm feel free to add to my list. Here's hoping we all stay safe and dry over the next few months.

Well it's potentially "Fire Season" here, and we have had some very bad ones. There hasn't been enough snow pack on the mountains for several years and we just haven't had enough rain. Add very high temperatures and that spells Fire !
