Ethan is having surgery today and I wanted to post to ask for extra thoughts & prayers for Ethan and his parents and more importantly a successful surgery. May this be the last of his hurdles towards a full recovery. BTW, the monkey is called AC (angry cancer fighting monkey) & was given to Ethan by the docs at Texas Children.

Yea... Every time I see the photo of Ethan, this little chap makes me smile because he's so cute! And the same time, I can't help praying for him. My thoughts go to his parents too, indeed. It must be a very, very hard time for them. How are they getting along? I hope everything is going to be fine soon.

Here's the latest update from Ethan's mom...
"He's back! Ethan is drinking his Pedialyte as I type this. Yahoo!!! If he doesn't throw up this, we can move on to his formula tomorrow - then, on to recovering at home! He is not crying much today, so we have stopped the morphine. Thank you for all your good wishes and prayers. We are very excited that he's getting better"
She also writes that he continues to woo his nurses. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. The spirit of this little boy continues to shine and remind us how fragile life is and certainly a gift that is too be treasured.
