Here's a review from USA Today...

The Calling: * * *
Soul-searching singer-songwriter
Carpenter returns to the jangly folk-rock of her best country hits while searching for meaning in belief, life and hope. It’s hard to suss out her spiritual center — she’s open to God, Buddha and Allah, or nothing at all if it suits her mood — but few artists can so reliably navigate the dark, lonesome roads on the outskirts of faith. — Mansfield

Thanks to Mario for giving me his copy!
Feeling under the weather today
and stayed home to take care of me
of which I needed to do as I had been
going, going & almost gone.
Leaving for NYC on Satuday
so yeah, I will need the down time today.
Listening to MCC now & it's like mana.
